His 'minimalwildpitch' like, slowly and carefully building tracks, as well as his remixes, are in almost every DJ's box, while of course PETE's own DJ-sets are like that and always a guarantee of maximum deepness. Since LOSOUL is pioneering and exploring minimal Funk-structures for years already, it was time for a new challenge. Shortly before his forthcoming album 'BELONG', PETE presents his first collaboration with the German singer MALTE SCHLORF. The original version is a fusion of a typical LOSOUL foundation with MALTES very free and freaky, Sly Stone or early Prince stuff reminding vocals. LOSOUL records are always also an experiment, which in consequence leads us to a completely fresh and unique form of new Vocalhouse. The elements of MALTES vocals are very organically integrated in the music, which turns the whole track into a flowing soulsong and a clubtool at the same time. The b-side devides the song again into his two main ingredients: b1 shows in an impressive way, how LOSOUL is able to work out the rhythmpatterns in his very own style, while the accapella (b2) shows one more time the beauty of the vocals in full effect.
